The first time I saw one of these was in Florida. I thought the same thing many people think - "neat crab"! This is really no larger than the fingernail on your pinky. It also smiles at you, which is fun. However, these guys will string a web from the ground to the roof. I hate walking into them...

Spiders NEVER get photographed by me. They are creatures from the deepest pits of hell, as far as I am concerned! It is a nice photo, I think.
